Woman sentenced in escape case

DAVENPORT - A woman who left a court-ordered treatment program early and failed to return was sentenced to four months in jail Tuesday, July 21.

Courtney Mae Currera, 35, of Carroll, Iowa, was sentenced after changing her plea to guilty on the amended Class C felony charge, Lincoln County Superior Court Records show.

Prosecuting Attorney Ty Albertson and public defender David Hearrean handled the case.

The standard sentencing range for the charge, based on an offender score of 2, is 4-12 months, according to court records. Albertson recommended six months in jail with credit for time served.
