COLBERT — Northwest Christian beat Davenport 8-1 in girls soccer Tuesday, Sept. 15.
Junior Charlotte Soliday scored in the 12th minute for the Gorillas. The Crusaders scored in the 6th, 18th, 32nd, 34th and 40th minutes and led 4-1 at half. They added goals in the 44th, 54th and 66th.
Assistant coach Ashley Gunning said the score was 2-1 — and nearly 2-2 after Soliday hit the crossbar — when Soliday left with a knee injury. She is doubtful for Thursday’s match at Newport.
