    Hello everyone! It’s wintertime again. The time of year everyone stays inside. After awhile don’t you get tired of looking at the same four walls? If you do, please come join us at the Old Town Hall on a Wednesday or Thursday at noon for lunch, laughter and an all around good time. The suggested cost is only $3.50 for ages 60 and over and $8 for 60 and under. The prices are only a suggestion. You can make a donation of whatever amount can be afforded.   • Local groups sponsor dinner and evening of enjoyment

    The free turkey dinner served Saturday, December 3, was sponsored by the Wheatland Queens of Odessa (Chapter of Red Hat ladies) and the Primetimers of Odessa. This dinner was a full turkey dinner with all the traditional sides, plus a large array of desserts. We had the pleasure of some local teens: Elena Hernandez, Alexa Boss, Kimberly Nelson and Morgan Nelson, who served and cleaned up.     We are the women in red hats, we are the ones enjoying life to the fullest, no matter where we are or what we are doing. We are the mothers, daughters, sisters and grandmothers of society. When you belong to the RHS (Red Hat Society) you are the vital part of an enormous nurturing network of women. We always have fun when we get together.
