HARRINGTON—A footrace was required for Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputy Jon Evans to detain a suspect breaking into Johnson Family Towing last weekened. Evans responded to a call of a break in at Johnson Family Towing outside of Harrington Thursday, April 28 about 8:15 p.m, according to a release from Sheriff Wade Magers. Howard E. Schaffner, 90, passed away on April 19, 2022 at the Spokane Veteran’s Home after a long bout with cancer. Home was Harrington, Wash. HARRINGTON–City council discussed several upgrades that are needed in Town Square at its April 13 regular meeting. Cindy Haase gave an update on the town square project. They were able to obtain another grant under the chamber’s guise, but not as the chamber. The grant was for $6,200.
