Caleb Behrens has been named Athlete of the Week by Coach Larry Weber. He is a ninth grader in Harrington and plays baseball for the Titans. He is the son of Ryan and Brandie Behrens. After only two weeks of practice, the Odessa – Harrington Titan golf team had their first match of the season in Odessa against Northwest Christian, Wilbur–Creston, ACH and Davenport. On a beautiful spring day, Carsen Weber pitched the top half of the first inning of a single against the Davenport Gorillas. This game was the first game of the O-H Titan's baseball season. The Odessa-Harrington golf team had its first outing after only two weeks of practice on Tuesday, March 18, at the Odessa Golf Course. The Titans got the team win with a total score of 260, followed by Wilbur-Creston with 268, Davenport 274 and Northwest Christian 276. ACH also had one individual entry but no team score. Evan Gonzales, a seventh grader in Harrington, plays junior high basketball for the Titans. Coaches Oestrich and Linstrom named him athlete of the week, because even though this was his first year playing basketball, he showed tremendous improvement in his skills and his attitude. The Odessa-Harrington Titans ended their season and their hopes for a State 1B tournament berth at the regional, loser-out game against Three Rivers Christian of Kelso, 53-46, played at Ellensburg High School last Saturday. Madison helped the Titans earn a second seed out of the Bi-County District Tournament by playing tough defense and his ability to shoot the three-point shot. Twenty five animal heads and furs have been on display in the Harrington Public Library since June of 1973. The late Louis Schultz was a Harrington farmer who enjoyed game hunting when he was not busy with keeping his farming operations going. Schultz began game hunting in 1946 and made two trips to Africa, trips into British Columbia, the Yukon and Alaska.
