Junior-high football practice will start on August 20 in Harrington at 4 p.m. The bus will leave Odessa at 3:30. Laura Hardt, formerly of Odessa, celebrated her 97th birthday on July 31 with several relatives and friends. Hardt now lives at the Regency senior-living apartments in Spokane, near where her daughter Dixie Hardt Moore lives. The Harrington Opera House Society Rummage Room held its function on Tuesday, June 17, during the 11-4 p.m hours of the library's book sale. Considering it was on a weekday, there was a better than anticipated donation of about $160. Rain did not deter the treasure seekers. All funds donated are held for the eventual purchase of an elevator. The rummage events are planned to discontinue for the summer.
