ODESSA – The school board approved new superintendent John Bruce's contract at the board's March 23 meeting, finalizing a deal for the district's new leader who comes to town from Alaska. The sons of HaLee and Colley Walter of Odessa joined the racing action last Saturday out at the Desert-100 campsite. Tucker and Sawyer raced in the poker run, while younger brothers Hank and Hudson participated in the kids' races.
