The screening will be offered at no cost to children of concern aged three through five. By identifying children at an early age, we can better prepare for their future educational needs. A crowd filled the cafeteria of the Odessa schools March 8 for the special meeting called by the Harrington and Odessa School Boards for the purpose of discussing further the athletic cooperative between the two districts. On March 20, quilters from all over the northwest will converge on Odessa for the 22nd straight time to quilt their hearts out. This will be the 22nd year of the annual event. Quilting begins at 6 a.m. and ends at 10 p.m. and takes place at the Odessa Community Center. The Odessa Quilt Club sponsors the event, providing the venue, coffee, tea, water and sweet rolls for the crowd. Wes Morris was born March 30, 1946, and entered into rest on February 23, 2017. He loved the outdoors, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. As a child, he and his family would spend entire summers moving from one campground to the next in search of adventure.
