He competed against a total of 93 other runners on a five-kilometer (3.1 mile) race at Colfax's golf course to determine which runners will move on to compete at the state cross country meet November 5 in Pasco.     Friday night’s game against Almira/Coulee-Hartline was played for the league championship, with both teams undefeated to that point in the season. Senior Sage Elder led the team defensively with 10 tackles, one quarterback sack, 2.5 tackles for loss and one interception that was returned for a touchdown.
