Jean Starkel has reached one milestone in her life by announcing her retirement from OMHC and moving on to the next phase of her life. In her 28-year career at Odessa Memorial Healthcare Center, Starkel has had the greatest respect for her quality work from both her coworkers and the patients. Over the past nine years the Odessa Friends of the Pool have been working hard to support the Odessa Aquatic Recreation Center. The FOP was founded in 2005 by concerned moms who were willing to work with the town to keep the pools open through a budget crunch.
