    DAVENPORT--Avista customers on and south of Merriam Street here will experience a planned power outage Saturday, May 6, according to a press release from Avista Utilities. Approximately 844 customers in the Davenport and Reardan areas will be affected. The outage is planned from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. so crews can perform maintenance work on local equipment.
