The Cub Scouts of Pack #784 in Odessa will once again be “Scouting for Food.” Over the past several years, the Cub Scouts have collected thousands of pounds worth of food. Nate Lathrop, owner of the Green Goat Gathering Gallery has announced a date for the second annual Car and Bike Show, formerly held in July. In 2016, the show will coincide with the Odessa Spring Fling quilt show and garage sale weekend. A reunion of Fred Bohnet, Sr.'s descendants was held Saturday, September 26, at the Wilson Creek School Commons. The reunion was hosted by Doris Bohnet Jasman and Kathy Bohnet. Nearly 100 attended. Some traveled from California and Nevada to attend. Cade Lawrence Weber has been named to the Dean’s List at the University of Washington for spring 2015 quarter. To qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must have completed at least 12 graded credits and have a grade-point average of at least 3.50 (out of 4). Odessa Memorial Healthcare Center would has welcomed Ryan Carpenter to the Physical Therapy Department. Carpenter was born and raised in Moses Lake, with family in and around Odessa. His mother is Lori Zeiler Carpenter. He spent much time in the area, visiting his grandparents and other relatives, the Libsacks.
