Improvements made by Odessa FBLA members and the BLM's Chris Shafer include removing vegetation to widen the trail, removing rocks, smoothing out the ground to improve the trail tread and installing new markers and signs to make it easier to navigate. Members of the Friends of the Pool (FOP), a group of young parents who conduct fundraising efforts on behalf of the Odessa Aquatic Recreation Center, met with town officials at the publicl library recently to discuss needs at the pool prior to the coming swim season.
