    Drew Lawson, The Times|Updated Oct 7, 2021

DAVENPORT—A federal mandate requiring all healthcare workers be vaccinated announced by president Joe Biden in early September has caused some health organizations nationwide to lose employees in the hundreds, though the majority complied with the mandate. However, at Lincoln Hospital, a staff exodus seems unlikely as the deadline to receive a shot passes. The deadline for health workers to receive their shot was Oct. 4, as an individual is considered fully vaccinated two weeks after receiving their second shot of the P...

The Department of Health has defined someone as fully vaccinated when they’ve received two doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or one dose of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine and...

Removal of the carpeting revealed a gaping hole in the floor of the south room, meaning that vendors would not be able to use the space during Fest. The Odessa Historical Society and the Old Town Hall Rejuvenation Society had been hoping t...
