    MOSES LAKE – Landowners near Moses Lake have been fined for illegally pumping more than 500 million gallons of groundwater from the declining Odessa aquifer. In June, the Washington Department of Ecology issued cease and desist orders requiring the landowners and their lessee to stop pumping groundwater.     The Odessa High School chapter of FBLA delivered 553 meals to 44 local senior citizens as part of their community service project. Using $100 from Spokane Teachers Credit Union (STCU), they purchased supplies to decorate 200 caramel apples which they sold at various events throughout October and November.
