The Odessa-Harrington Titans girls basketball team opened the season with games against the Davenport Gorillas and Lind/Ritzville-Sprague Broncos. Despite losing both games to the larger schools, there were a lot of positive signs that the team is on the right track. Big Bend Community College Foundation scholarship applications for 2012-13 are available now in the Financial Aid Office and on the college’s web site. An estimated $190,000 in scholarships will be awarded to 145 students for the 2012-13 academic year that starts in September of 2012, said Doug Sly, Executive Director of the BBCC Foundation.
