Monday, July 29: Personnel at Lincoln Hospital in Davenport voiced concerns that a prescription pad may have been stolen from the emergency room, but subsequent investigation revealed the suspicion to be without merit.
Fuel leaked from a SUV in the Trader's Express parking lot in Davenport, where the driver had spent the night waiting for the store to open. Three gasoline puddles were noticed there and another at the Counseling Center.
A Hawk Creek area resident advised of receiving harassing phone calls.
Dispatchers were told of a dispute between neighbors in the 400 block of Adams Street in Davenport. One said a hole had been cut in a fence, allowing dogs to defecate in the adjacent yard, and that sprinklers were allowed to shoot water into a boat.
Mules ran loose near property adjacent to Fisher Road East north of Reardan.
Ten cows were observed on SR 231 north of Reardan, causing a possible traffic hazard.
A Davenport woman reported a "solid mass" of honey bees "the size of a basketball" in a tree on property in the 200 block of Seventh Street.
Wilbur Police responded to vandalism done to a vehicle parked at Billy Burger. The driver-side mirror had been broken off.
After an intrusion alarm sounded at Tom's Heavy Machinery, Wilbur Police determined no one was inside, but a small door was found open with a cat sitting nearby.
Reardan Police learned of a moose that spent a week in a resident's yard in the 800 block of West Broadway.
National Park Service personnel assisted a possible snakebite victim at Fort Spokane. MedStar air ambulance transported the individual to a Spokane hospital.
Tuesday, July 30: Davenport ambulance personnel assisted a patient with a diabetic problem in the 500 block of Ross Street.
After two semi-truck drivers were cited for speeding on the Mohler Road, extra patrols were requested.
Wednesday, July 31: A pack of dogs was spotted traveling together over the previous three days in the vicinity of Larene Road East.
A caller reported 25 cows in her front yard in the 20000 block of North Leffel Road.
Deputies investigated a narcotics incident in the Mohler area.
Deputies responded to a verbal dispute between Harrington residents in the 300 block of North Third Street.
A caller reported the loss of the rear license plate from his pickup truck while traveling in Davenport.
Two boys in the Bluestem area were approached by a man driving a van who asked to take photos of them and the dogs they were with. As the exchange continued, the boys became uncomfortable as the man asked them about their school and whether they were involved in sports.
A caller reported that someone used a paintball gun to shoot at a grain truck as it passed through Sprague to the Crab Creek elevator.
Thursday, Aug. 1: Deputies responded to a trespassing incident at a residence in the 1000 block of Adams Street in Davenport.
A Harrington woman reported a fraud incident.
A DVD player, 45 disks and a box of tools were among items missing as a result of a burglary in the 200 block of Third Street North in Harrington.
Individuals attempting to camp at a hay barn near the intersection of SR 23 and 231, the location of an arson fire last year, were advised by a deputy that it was private property and they should move elsewhere.
Odessa Police determined that a grain truck was responsible for hitting a stop sign at the intersection of 1st Avenue and Birch Street.
Reardan Police encountered a woman who "was just looking for a place to sleep" when she parked in front of the school bus garage.
National Park Service personnel assisted a boater who apparently took too many pills and couldn't be awakened. The individual was transported from Plum Point to Coulee Medical Center.
Friday, Aug. 2: A vehicle went into a ditch along SR 28 about three miles east of the county line.
Davenport city officials requested assistance with a resident of the 300 block of Washington Street whose water had been shut off for nine months but was getting a supply from a neighbor's garden hose.
Deputies dealt with a report of an unwanted person at a residence in the 700 block of Morgan Street in Davenport.
After a woman in a pickup truck parked at the Davenport Safeway was observed drinking from a bottle in a bag, a responding deputy determined alcohol wasn't involved, but she was heavily medicated.
Saturday, Aug. 3: A man was arrested for driving while under the influence after a resident of the Spring Canyon area told dispatchers about a vehicle parked in front of his home for 30 minutes with its lights on.
A Sprague woman expressed fear for her safety after receiving a text message that appeared threatening.
A stop sign was ripped through the bolts from its post at Harrington Airport Road and SR 28.
A caller reported seeing a man on a motorcycle without benefit of a helmet in the Northridge area of Davenport.
Deputies responded to a possible domestic violence incident in the 100 block of East Railroad Avenue in Reardan. The situation was determined to be verbal only.
Deputies transported a woman apparently suffering from depression from the Porcupine Bay area to Davenport where she was assisted by mental health personnel.
A deputy encountered a boy without a helmet riding a motorcycle illegally on Harrington city streets and making a lot of noise.
Sunday, Aug. 4: Vehicles moving items from foreclosed property on Spring Canyon Road were legitimately on scene and in use by a subcontractor hired for cleanup.
Three batteries were stolen from two tractors parked at Moos and Waukon roads; a knife with engraved initials was found nearby.
A possible traffic hazard, an iron cap was observed sticking up from a hole at Third and Maxwell streets in Davenport.
Deputies stopped a green Suburban with a flat tire from which beer bottles were thrown while traveling west on SR 2 between Ziemer Road and the east Davenport bridge.
A collision involving a truck and deer was reported on SR 28 near Lamona.
Wilbur ambulance personnel assisted a 78-year-old man who possibly suffered a stroke.
Wilbur Police responded to the reported theft of a boat from a residence in the 100 block of NE Cliff Street.

Civil Judgments
Charles Douglas Potts, doing business as Banks Lake Pub in Wilbur, must pay $405.47 in worker compensation premiums to the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries.
The court restored firearms rights to Kelly Dare Graber, 49, of Davenport, who had met the necessary requirements.
In an unlawful detainer matter, the court on July 25 issued an order of default against Ricky Lee McKinney and awarded restitution of premises at 1101 Adams Street to petitioners Jeffrey L. Shaver and Jennie Hester, of Harrington, who also will receive $1,245 in back rent and court costs.
New Criminal Cases
Michael Christopher Tucker, 23, of Spokane, is charged with hit and run (injury) and reckless driving in connection with a July 21 rear-end collision in Sprague that resulted in "severe whiplash" and the hospitalization in Spokane of a Sprague woman.
Charles Reuben McNeil, 28, of Wilbur, was charged with bail-jumping after he failed to appear for a July 16 court hearing on three counts of theft of a motor vehicle.
New Juvenile Offender Case
A 17-year-old Edwall girl is charged with second-degree burglary, residential burglary and third-degree possession of stolen property in connection with the taking between July 7 and 14 of property from a residence and unattached garage at 330 N. Birch in Reardan. Items taken included a sewing machine, satellite TV and electronic games equipment, a watch and men's sweaters. The crime victim was in the process of moving from the residence at the time. Also charged was Julie Ann Hickam, 52, of Reardan.
New Civil Case
Harley-Davidson Credit Corp. seeks $12,121.37 owed by Randall L. Dickerson, of Edwall, for a motorcycle purchased in 2009 or return of the vehicle, which the petitioner claims is "being hidden in Lincoln County."
