Letter to the Editor; History column delights descendants of pioneers

To the Editor:

It was a delight to read the story in The Record, April 9 edition, about Walt Harms in the 100-years-ago news.

Walt was an uncle to my wife, Ellen Harms. Walt later farmed in the Davenport area.

The Henry Harms family came west from Hamburg, Minnesota to Lamona in 1904.
