Oct. 18

Traffic stops: 7

A caller said his elderly neighbor, who has dementia and uses an oxygen tank, might be missing after they went hunting the day prior.

A report came in of a man shooting a two-point buck near Hawk Creek Campground, throwing it in the back of a GMC truck and heading down Redwine Canyon Road.

Assault was reported in Odessa.

A caller said two of his black electric scooters were stolen.

A Creston woman came into the Sheriff’s Office with a letter from Spain saying a financial manager found millions of dollars that belonged to her family and wanted to give her 40%, while the manager would give her 50%. She was told this was likely a scam letter.

A Davenport man reported an 85-year-old male that fell outside Wheatland Bank in Davenport.

A Ford woman said her neighbor was trespassing on her property in a tractor and was pulling down trees while yelling at her husband that he has an easement to be there.

A Wilbur woman reported a gray Toyota Prius with poor passing westbound on Highway 2 at milepost 239.

A Davenport man reported a medical issue with a 53-year-old woman.

A Davenport woman reported yelling and screaming coming from an apartment on the 800 block of 12th Street.

A Harrington woman said her neighbor converted her garage into a studio for her daughter.

A Davenport woman reported fraud.

A Wilbur woman requested a deputy presence as she collected her belongings from her mother’s house on the 500 block of Northwest Armstrong Avenue.

Theft from a vehicle was reported in Odessa.

A caller reported large pieces of tire on Highway 2 at milepost 232.

A Davenport woman requested a welfare check on a local woman that no one had heard from since Sunday.

A Davenport man reported a small car off the roadway at Highway 2 near Fichtenburg Road that was damaged from hitting cars in the roadway.

A Davenport man said he locked his keys in his Toyota Camry at the football field.

A Liberty Lake woman reported a possible driver under the influence westbound on Highway 2.

A caller said her brother saw a man putting water into his car’s radiator from the creek at the Sprague Lake boat launch.

A man was seen walking alone. He said he was trying to take a Greyhound from Moses Lake to Ritzville.

A Creston man reported an unknown car on the 200 block of Southwest North First Street.

A Lincoln County Jail inmate was transported to Spokane County on their warrant.

A Davenport woman said her husband was threatening to punch her and shaking her gate to get in on the 37900 block of Cayuse Cove Road East.

A Davenport woman requested a welfare check on her friend.

A Reardan woman said her five-year-old son walked out of her yard and was missing from the 52000 block of Whispering Pines Drive East.

A caller reported two pickup trucks westbound on Highway 2 from milepost 254 driving around 100 mph.

A caller reported a possible driver under the influence.

A caller reported a car in the ditch east of Wilbur.

A caller reported a possible driver under the influence crossing lanes.

A caller reported a possibly impaired driver in front of Kathy’s Market in Sprague after he saw a Dodge Charger park in the middle of the street.

A caller said her soon-to-be ex-husband won’t give back her the property out of the house.

A woman said she hit a deer on Miles-Creston Road near the Deer Meadows fire station.

A Davenport High School student locked his keys in his car.

Oct. 22

Traffic stops: 6

An inmate was transferred from Spokane County Jail to Lincoln County Jail.

An Edwall woman reported animal problems on the 52300 block of Sobek Road East.

A caller said there were people going in and out of his old farmhouse property on McLain Road.

Lincoln Hospital staff said they had a female patient in the emergency room claiming she was a victim of human trafficking off the Spokane Indian Reservation.

A man said someone tried to steal the flag in front of his house and smashed his pumpkins in the driveway.

A Davenport man said someone shot a doe on his property and left without permission to be on the property on the 39200 block of Mule Ranch Road North.

A child said her mother assaulted her.

A Lincoln Hospital patient was driven to detox in Spokane.

Federal Way Police asked the Sheriff’s Office to contact a man living on the 4550 block of Spring Canyon Road.

A woman reported people in a car arguing.

A caller reported a lost brown and white dog running around their neighborhood.

A caller reported a fire behind the credit union in Creston.

A Davenport woman said someone tried to break into her house on the 41900 block of Porcupine Bay Road North.

A caller reported two cars driving 25 mph on Highway 2 and said every time he tried to pass the cars, they sped up before slowing down again.

A man said his neighbor’s pickup truck horn had been going off for five minutes.

Oct. 20

Anthony Allen Baker, 34, Goldendale. Arrested by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) on a charge of a controlled substance felony.

Lorenza Antar Black, 31, Seattle. Arrested by LCSO on a charge of driving under the influence and making a false or misleading statement to a public servant.

Jesus Alberto Castaneda, 27, Elmer City. Arrested by the Reardan Police Department on charges of third-degree conspiracy to commit theft, third-degree criminal trespassing, third-degree theft and third-degree driving with a license suspended or revoked.

Timothy Ronald Wilging, 52, Grand Coulee. Arrested by the Reardan Police Department on charges of third-degree conspiracy to commit theft and third-degree theft.

Oct. 21

Austin Andrew Anderson 21, Davenport. Arrested by LCSO on a charge of sexual assault.

Oct. 22

Larry Quincy Bronson, 29, Ritzville. Arrested by LCSO on charges of first-degree theft and first-degree stolen property trafficking.

Christopher D. Holverson, 35, Spokane. Arrested by the Reardan Police Department on charges of first-degree malicious mischief, second-degree burglary, first-degree theft and third-degree theft.

Criminal court-Oct. 21

James Kelly McGinnis, Nespelem, third-degree driving with a suspended license and operating a vehicle without insurance. Sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for 10 days served, 12 months supervised probation and a $500 fine.

Michael Ray McCraigie, Airway Heights, third-degree driving with a suspended license. Sentenced to 24 hours of community service.

Lyle Bruce Zornes, Deer Park, third-degree driving with a suspended license. Sentenced to 24 hours of community service.

Levi William Dennis, Spokane, third-degree driving with a suspended license. Sentenced to three days in jail.

Arthur James Banko Jr., hometown not listed, violation of civil anti-harassment. Sentenced to 20 days in jail with credit for 20 days served and 12 months supervised probation.

Criminal docket-Oct. 18

Kiernan Reese Chrisman was found guilty on seven counts of first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm after entering a guilty plea and was sentenced to 116 months in prison concurrent with his current sentence he’s serving on a conviction of two counts of first-degree rape of a child in Spokane County in 2014.

Criminal docket-Oct. 19

Perry David Bayes entered a guilty plea on two counts of first-degree possession of stolen property and one count of first-degree theft and was found guilty of stealing 64 beehives in Almira in 2020. He was sentenced to 14 months in prison.

Gary Chandler Angell entered a guilty plea on charges of residential burglary and first-degree identity theft and was sentenced to 12 months in prison.

Bryan Lee Wing had a re-sentencing hearing concerning his conviction of second-degree burglary, second-degree malicious mischief and third-degree theft in 2020 rescheduled to Nov. 2.

Reina M. Karunaratne, who is charged with residential burglary, was found mentally competent. A readiness hearing was set for Dec. 14 and a jury trial was set for Jan. 5.

Amy Elizabeth Wilsey, who is charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and third-degree theft, had a change of plea hearing moved to Nov. 16.

Kendra Marie Tonasket, who is charged with second-degree identity theft, failed to make a preliminary appearance. A warrant was issued for her arrest, with bail set at $5,000.
