Hunt for CEO continues

Two candidates visiting town in November

ODESSA--During the week of Nov. 14-18, two candidates for CEO and a possible third will be visiting the area and touring local medical facilities, interim CEO Emmet Schuster said at the Hospital Board meeting on Thursday, October 27.

Schuster said they have five human resource candidates and will start making phone calls to complete interviews this week.

Clinic Jace Angelly said they had their first official flu case in early October.

Angelly said there are more visits than last September, but that is due to the clinic offering vaccines and flu shots. The hospital expects to see the same results for October.

The mobile clinic is wrapped and will be going to Sprague to proceed with other details in November.

CNO Megan Shepard said four people are in Caitlin Higley's Nursing Assistant Certification class.

The board approved Mary Anne Knopp as an instructor for the NAC class. The clinic is hoping to offer more courses in the future.

Shepard said the clinic hopes to put a fall newsletter together so the public knows the various constructions that will take place.
