LIND – Hold onto your hats, colossal crashes will be heard June 12-13 as the annual Lind Combine Demolition Derby returns to town.
The two-day event features car and truck racing, a parade, car show, community barbecue and the signature event, the Combine Demolition Derby.
The sounds of revving motors starts at 5 p.m. Friday, June 12, with car and pickup time trials in Lind Lions Club Arena on state Highway 21, according to derby executive Mike Doyle.
“Racing starts at 6 p.m.,” Doyle said.
Following racing, a live disc jockey cranks up the tunes in the on-site beer garden at 9 p.m.
