Our state missed a 'golden opportunity'

I, too, was disappointed that our governor chose not to represent Washington at the Great American State Fair in Washington, D.C. It was a golden opportunity to showcase our beautiful state with its outstanding features (i.e, lakes, rivers, mountains and flatlands).
