    LIBERTY LAKE – The Gorilla track and field times brought a one-two finish home from the 2B District 7 meet Saturday, May 21, from Ridgeline High School. The Davenport girls won the team award with 170 points, followed by Jenkins (Chewelah) with 129.5. The Reardan girls finished fifth with 58 points.     Donald N. Frick, 93, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2022 in Moses Lake, Wash. He was born April 16, 1929 in Moody, Wash. to Frederick and Bernardines Frick. Don attended school in Marlin and graduated from WSC (now WSU) with an Electrical Engineering Degree. He married Effie King on Oct. 2, 1949 and they raised their four children Jim, Tom, Marilee and Charlene on the farm in the Marlin/ Ruff area. Don and Effie later moved into their home in Odessa.     DAVENPORT – The recent death of Deputy Raymond "Riami" Hayden of the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office came as a real blow to his family, colleagues and community. Although his time with the Sheriff's Office was brief, he made a lasting impression on those around him. He became a Lincoln County deputy in September of 2020.     WALLA WALLA – The Odessa Tigers boys baseball season came to an end Saturday, May 21, with a 10-1 loss to the DeSales Fighting Irish.
