    ODESSA — A former resident and professional graphic designer was the mastermind behind the design of this year’s Deutschesfest T-Shirt. 38-year-old Jesse Scheller, now of Spokane, created the logo that he called a “marriage” between Odessa’s wheat farming and German heritage and rock-style bands that frequent the Biergarten at Deutschesfest. “We felt it met people right in the middle,” Scheller, who grew up on the family farm near town until 2006, said.     DAVENPORT — Two weeks after filing a lawsuit against the Department of Health and Social Services, Lincoln County isn’t done suing the state. The county joined Pacific and Yakima Counties, along with the Washington State Association of Counties, in asserting through a filing in Thurston County Superior Court on Friday, Sept. 8, that the state’s trial court indigent defense system is unconstitutional.
