    REARDAN – House Bill 1356, first read Jan. 25 and moved to a public hearing Feb. 5, would ban Washington public schools from using any Native American names, symbols or images as mascots, logos or team names.     ODESSA – The Feb. 9, 2021 special election results for Lincoln County show Odessa’s two school levies and one hospital levy easily passing by margins of over 70 percent in favor to 30 percent or less opposed. Voter turnout stood at 46.47 percent, with 1,284 votes counted thus far out of the 2,763 registered voters in the county. The Sprague and Readan-Edwall School Districts also had levies passing by approximately the same amounts as the Odessa School District.     DAVENPORT--All five levies on the Lincoln County ballot for the Feb. 9 special election, including four school and one hospital levies, were passing as of press time, according to the Lincoln County Auditor’s website.
