DAVENPORT – The school board approved the hire of a new full-time custodian at its regular meeting July 26. Aaron Kelp has been the custodial lead for the Mead School District since 2010 and is moving to Lincoln County, where he’ll take the custodial position here. ODESSA – Odessa School Superintendent Dan Read reported that the district had a spike in positive COVID cases over the past two weeks, with a total of 14 positive cases. The district therefore returned to remote learning for students in grades 6-12 from Wednesday, May 19, to a return date of Tuesday, May 25.
