    ALMIRA – Last week Tuesday, Oct. 12, the Almira school building that normally housed elementary grades 1 through 5 and ACH Middle School grades 6, 7 and 8 caught fire and burned to the ground in a raging conflagration.     ODESSA – Odessa School Superintendent Dan Read reported that the district had a spike in positive COVID cases over the past two weeks, with a total of 14 positive cases.
