    REARDAN – Town Council heard outgoing councilmember Clay Soliday’s letter of resignation at its meeting Thursday, Jan. 4 and a subsequent announcement soliciting the vacancy to interested citizens living in town limits.     DAVENPORT — After originally tabling a motion to approve the 2024 Lincoln County budget Monday, Dec. 18, the County Commissioners approved said budget Thursday, Dec. 28. After using reserve funds to close a roughly $1.4 million budget gap that usually besets small counties like Lincoln, the current expense fund balanced at $22,004,444.     DAVENPORT — The Lincoln County Transfer Station will be increasing its fees as of April 1.     HARRINGTON — City council adopted a final budget for the 2024 fiscal year at a meeting Friday, Dec. 29. Some funds have more expected expenditures than revenues, but the final budget balances with about $15,800 to spare. Projected revenues are $1,035,705.65 and projected expenditures are $1,019,828.17.     ODESSA — The local Municipal Airport was one of 37 Washington airports to receive federal funding in the 2023 calendar year. In a project that has already been completed, $300,000 was received to pave a portion of the existing gravel apron.
