    A two-year replacement levy seeking funds from taxpayers in the Harrington School District had passed by a wide margin as of press time. A special election was held Tuesday, Feb. 8 for voters to decide on the levy, which had received 131 “yes” votes and 57 “no” votes with just 14 ballots left to count by press time. The district will collect funds in 2023 and 2024 totaling $375,000 per year, which carries an estimated rate of $2.25 per $1,000 in assessed property value.     HARRINGTON—The school district here is seeking passage of a two-year replacement levy for collection in 2023 and 2024 to help fund several school expenses.
