Davenport and Reardan returned to spring sports practices Monday, Feb. 28. Teams are preparing for a full spring schedule for the first time since 2019 after 2020’s season was cancelled and 2021’s season was shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic. DAVENPORT-Students' standardized test scores dropped statewide in English/language arts (ELA) and math assessments between 2019 and 2021 tests, and local schools were no different. Students were given standardized tests in Fall 2021 for the first time since Spring 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Both school levies, one for capital projects and one for other school needs, passed with more than 70 percent “Yes” votes to just under 30 percent “No” votes.
