    DAVENPORT—A Yakima truck driver originally charged with second-degree assault stemming from an incident in May 2021 entered a guilty plea on an amended charge and won’t face jail time. Ernest Vern Windisch, age 62, pleaded guilty to one count of reckless endangerment in Lincoln County Superior Court Tuesday, Feb. 15. Windisch was handed $700 in total fees but given zero days in jail after his guilty plea, according to court records.
