1 years ago May 14, 1920 The Odessa vs. Davenport ball game [town team, not high school] broke up in a row in the seventh inning with Odessa leading 5-4. A questionable call was made by the Davenport umpire at home plate after a short fly ball that landed foul, and the Davenport player at third headed for home.
