Katie DeWulf has been a great addition to the tennis team. She is a hard worker and competitive. Cydnee Kieffer has helped to keep tennis going in the Odessa-Harrington Athletic Co-Op. Without her skill and dedication, Coach Rachel Roberts is not sure the program would still be around. Cydnee will be greatly missed next year because she is a senior. The Odessa FFA Chapter and Agriculture course students have been very busy attending the Spokane Jr. Livestock Show, gearing up for the Washington State FFA Convention, and preparing for their annual banquet. Sage Hill On May 1, the Titans golf team took two, 2-man teams to compete in an alternating shot 18 hole tournament at Sage Hill golf course, hosted by Warden. The boys had a lot of fun playing the alternating shot format. The Titans number 1 team Madison Charlton and Griffey Powell got redemption from their last year’s score with about a 20-stroke improvement and shot a 79 for second place in the tournament. Marie Braun died December 26, 2013, at Lincoln Hospital in Davenport at the age of 89. She was born January 12, 1924, in Odessa to Gottlob and Mary Ramm. She grew up with six sisters on a farm southeast of Odessa. She graduated from Odessa High School in 1942. On December 29, 1950, Marie married Elmer Braun, and they lived in Ritzville until they bought a farm in Deer Park.
