    The Odessa Record was delayed Wednesday morning when electrical power was knocked out at about 8:15 a.m. A truck was said to have backed into a power pole located on the property of the Grange Supply Company of Odessa-Harrington.     Marie E. (Ramm) Braun died December 26, 2013, at Lincoln Hospital in Davenport at the age of 89. She was born January 12, 1924, in Odessa to Gottlob and Mary Ramm. She grew up with six sisters on a farm southeast of Odessa. She graduated from Odessa High School in 1942. On December 29, 1950, Marie married Elmer Braun, and they lived in Ritzville until they bought a farm in Deer Park.     The December 18 board meeting opened with Superintendent Suellen White swearing in Joe Schlomer, Heather Valverde and Travis Wagner upon their re-election to the school board of directors in November.
