Several recent community meetings in Odessa have addressed the financial situation at the Odessa Memorial Healthcare Center. The hospital’s board of commissioners voted to increase the requested levy amount for maintenance and operations by one dollar per thousand dollars worth of real estate value. Edith M. Roloff passed away on December 7, 2014 in Moses Lake and was a longtime resident of Odessa. Edith was born on February 1, 1927 in Lincoln, Wash. to Ora and Elizabeth Reister. Edith attended school at Wilbur and graduated from Wilbur High School. Edith later married Reuben Roloff and they made their home in Odessa, and they had two sons, Raymond and Larry.
