    To the Editor: In the U.S.A. automobile fatalities take 30,00 plus lives annually. Amtrak trains are much safer than cars. I am a very grateful subscriber to your paper and I strongly believe Odessa needs an Amtrak train stop. Three points to consider when thinking about having a train stop in Odessa are: 1) potential tourist revenue 2) potential new diversity 3) promotion of green energy I’m a gigantic train fan.
