REARDAN--Two teams came into Tuesday night's matchup seeking their first win, but it was the visiting Asotin Panthers (1-3) who eeked out a five-set win over the hometown Indians 20-25, 25-17, 25-23, 19-25, 15-11. Reardan pulled away in the first and fourth sets to get wins, but a key third set win gave Asotin the advantage. ODESSA – The Feb. 9, 2021 special election results for Lincoln County show Odessa’s two school levies and one hospital levy easily passing by margins of over 70 percent in favor to 30 percent or less opposed. Voter turnout stood at 46.47 percent, with 1,284 votes counted thus far out of the 2,763 registered voters in the county. The Sprague and Readan-Edwall School Districts also had levies passing by approximately the same amounts as the Odessa School District. DAVENPORT--All five levies on the Lincoln County ballot for the Feb. 9 special election, including four school and one hospital levies, were passing as of press time, according to the Lincoln County Auditor’s website. SPOKANE – Avista Utility officials have announced that a planned power outage for the town of Sprague has been rescheduled to Feb. 6. The change was made due to the nature of unexpected repairs to the power system that resulted from the Jan. 13 windstorm.
