    DAVENPORT — Despite the coronavirus and its effects, the Davenport Lions Club had another successful year. The club had to cancel the annual Easter Egg Hunt and breakfast, the Lions Club Surf and Turf dinner and its board and regular meetings. While honoring the social distancing request, some information and issues were discussed via e-mail and messenger. It was sufficient enough for the end of the Lions year.     ODESSA — The Odessa High School Alumni Association has canceled this year’s June 20 alumni reunion dinner due to concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic. Letters to alumni will be sent out early in May informing them of the cancelation and explaining that the 2021 reunion will double up on the honored classes so that both the 2020 and 2021 honorees will receive their due recognition, officials said.
