Due to the high cost of fresh crab this spring, the Odessa Lions Club offered a “Surf and Turf” dinner featuring steak and lobster instead. The dinner was held March 10, and drew over 200 diners. Crews were kept busy in the Heimbigner addition to the Community Center as well as outside the main kitchen, cooking both entree choices on grills. Over the years, each member of the graduating class has had the option of purchasing a class ring bearing the year of graduation. The 94th annual Spokesman-Review Inland Northwest Trapshoot contest officially ended as of Sunday, February 26. The combined Marlin-Odessa teams finished in second place, one point behind the Colton Gun Club and one point ahead of Garfield-St. John in Division I.
