Odessa's Christmas Fest last week Wednesday at the community center was well attended by folks from the town and the surrounding area. The caller claims to be from the Grant PUD and requests the person called immediately send money or have their power shut off. The Washington State Transportation Improvement Board has awarded the town of Odessa the sum of $171,470 for the installation of sidewalks on First Street from Fourth Avenue to Marjorie Street. There is a misconception about the Lincoln County Fair and its funding. The fair is funded by a few different sources. The first is the Department of Agriculture, which supplies approximately $32,000 (the money that is up for review every two years). Additional funding of $25,000 comes from our own county.
