Poison Center offers tips for cases of snakebite

According to the Washington State Poison Center, hiking season is upon us, bringing opportunities to interact with native wildlife, including snakes.

While the vast majority of snakes found in Washington are harmless, a few species are capable of delivering a venomous bite, including the Northern Pacific and Western rattlesnakes
