DAVENPORT - Davenport has crowned its newest queen for the 2025 reign: local resident Alyssa Breedlove, 16.
Breedlove was officially named Miss Davenport 2024-2025 during a sunset ceremony on Wednesday, May 14, which also featured the debut of the town's new parade float.
Breedlove, a sophomore who is partially homeschooled and takes classes at Davenport High School, was selected for the honor after expressing enthusiasm to revive the program.
