    DAVENPORT—The state Republican Party is holding statewide caucuses this weekend, and Lincoln County is no different. The local Republican Central Committee will be holding the county caucuses at three county locations at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13.     DAVENPORT — A local man will be going to prison for nine crimes committed in Lincoln County. Damion M. Pegram, 20, of Davenport, entered a guilty plea and was convicted of two counts of third-degree assault, second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm, third-degree theft, possession of a stolen firearm, third-degree rape, first-degree malicious mischief, custodial assault and second-degree assault.     REARDAN —In order to offset an expected shortfall in revenue that town officials said would adversely affect basic town service levels, the Town Council implemented a utility tax that will increase resident’s utility bills by $66 per month at the end of 2023.
