    The four young sons of HaLee and Colley Walter of Odessa participated in the Lincoln County Fair in Davenport in August, taking part in various aspects of the event and supporting one another in their various endeavors.     The town council met August 27 in the public library to hear from Steve Nelson of Century West Engineering on the status of various projects dealing with streets and water/sewer infrastructure. He said that the town should hear within two weeks about whether the town’s request for a Community Development Block Grant of $750,000 would be met.     The Odessa Tigers completely dominated Naselle last Friday evening August 31, pummeling their opponents by a score of 76-14. The game was pretty much over at half time, when the score had reached 62-0. This was the first game of the season for both teams, so Odessa’s current standing is 1-0, and Naselle’s is 0-1.
