DAVENPORT —The Lincoln County Commissioners have until the end of the year to ratify the 2024 county budget, and plan to do so with three days to spare. The commissioners recessed their regular meeting Monday, Dec. 18 to Thursday, Dec. 28 in order to approve a finalized budget. The county usually faces a budget gap between its revenues and expenses. DAVENPORT — The trial of a man with addresses in Reardan and Spokane accused of killing an infant was continued to April 24. Jordan Russell Mills-Jay, 29, is facing alternative charges of second-degree murder and first-degree manslaughter regarding the death of an infant boy in a Euclid Road home in June.
