REARDAN-It was double trouble in Reardan for the Davenport baseball team, which fell in a pair of games to the cross-county rival 4-0 and 15-0. DAVENPORT–Washington Department Fish and Wildlife hunting and fishing permits won’t be sold at Davenport Sporting Goods anymore, the business announced on its Facebook page Friday, April 15. Co-owner Jonathan Chapman said a worker with Fish and Wildlife reported that the store was charging a service fee for the permits in order to avoid losing money in labor with the transactions. DAVENPORT—Feeding inmates at Lincoln County Jail has cost the county more than double what it previously did following prison lockdowns in Airway Heights and a change of meal suppliers.
