LINCOLN COUNTY – Of the 7,853 registered voters in eastern Washington’s Lincoln County, 3,506 had submitted their ballots as of as of October 27 for a total of 44.6 percent of its voting public. Janet passed away peacefully on October 23, 2020 in Davenport, WA after a long battle with Dementia. Janet was born January 2, 1934 in Spokane, WA to James and Genevieve Clinton. The family ran the Clinton Motel and gas station in Reardan for many years along Hwy 2. Although COVID-19 restrictions cancelled the Lincoln Hospital Foundation’s annual Sharing Hearts Luncheon, volunteers were still able to raise over $27,000 in funds last month by collecting donations. The “Sharing Hearts” effort raised over $27,000 for a special project, $340 to grow the Endowment Fund, and $840 to add to the medical scholarship for scholarships to go to Lincoln County students going into a medical field.
