The Harrington Landmark Apartments were built in the fall of 1974 with November 15 as their date for occupancy. The Leitze Construction Company built the complex, which was designed by Joel Molander. Born in Reardan to Homer and Clara Kennedy on February 22, 1923, Jean moved to Odessa at a young age and graduated from Odessa High School.
