HARRINGTON—The local school district will be asking its taxpayers to replace the current levy with a new 2-year levy in a special election Feb. 13. The levy will collect the same amount as the current levy. The levy would collect $375,000 in 2025 and 2026. “Even though costs are going up, we thought it’d be in the best interest of the community to keep the amount the same,” superintendent Howard King said.
