    Lincoln County certified its election Tuesday, Nov. 25, closing out a cycle marked by several close races and a modest bump in turnout. “Two years ago turnout was 40.56%, and this year it was 43.54%,” Elections Manager Norm Caley said. “Davenport mayor was really close — 14 votes difference. It could’ve changed if more people voted.” Caley said any of the contested races could have shifted with higher participation. The motion concerns Damon Joseph Ashe, 42, who pleaded guilty on June 14, 2022, to second-degree identity theft and received two concurrent 14-month sentences.
